OrderPaperToday– Former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark has described the the massacre of worshippers at St. Philip’s Catholic Church, Ozubulu in Anambra as “inhuman and condemnable.”

In a statement released by his media adviser, Paul Mummeh on Tuesday, Mark sent his condolences to the Government and people of Anambra State while urging security operatives not to leave any stone unturned to unravel the identities of the perpetrators and bring them to book.

Senator Mark added that “no matter the grievances of the perpetrators, a resort to this barbaric and wicked approach was beyond human comprehension.

“This is inhuman and condemnable by every right thinking member of the society.  This is reprehensible! People no longer fear God! Men have lost their sanity and human feelings.

“The deteriorating state of affairs is becoming intolerable. Security operatives and all citizens of good conscience must collaborate to redress the situation. Let us fear God and be our brother’s keeper”.

Senator Mark urged the traumatized worshipping community not to be deterred by the sad event but renew their faith in almighty God.
