OrderPaperToday- A legislator is statutorily required to perform three functions: legislate (make laws), oversight and represent members of his or her constituency.
The 9th assembly commenced its legislative duty in June 2019. Having spent six months in the legislative chamber, it is not too early to begin to look into how well this crop of senators are performing their core duties. This article gives a breakdown of how well each lawmaker has been doing in the area of bills sponsorship.
