David Mark’s hometown Church for dedication on Saturday

OrderPaperToday – A three-thousand capacity church built by immediate past President of the Senate, David Mark is set to be dedicated in Otukpo, Benue State on Saturday, 13th January, 2018.

The ultra-modern St. Augustine Catholic Church donated by the former presiding officer of the red chamber will be unveiled by the Archbishop of the Catholic Diocese of Abuja, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, his Otukpo counterpart Bishop Michael Apochi and other of clergy men.

Speaking during an inspection visit to the facility ahead of Saturday’s event, Senator Mark expressed satisfaction with the level and quality of work done. He said:”I am fulfilled and humbled because God has used me as an instrument for the realization of this church.  I thank the almighty God for his faithfulness, mercy, grace and blessing on me and my family. I can never quantify or measure his kindness and blessing. I will serve God and humanity for the rest of my life.”

Project coordinator, Johnson Jonathan Ahubi said all the engineering and architectural components of the church have been completed, noting that the complex is now ready for use by worshippers.

Ahubi thanked Senator Mark for the gesture and hoped that the church would help spread the gospel of salvation and make the society a better place for all and sundry.
