OrderPaperToday – Contrary to some reports that Senator Ita Enang, Special Assistant on National Assembly Matters (Senate) to the President had been replaced, he was at his desk and performed some official duties at the presidential villa today.
The reports said Senator Babajide Omoworare of the 8th Senate would be announced as Enang’s replacement.
But on Wednesday, following the end of the Sallah break, Enang in a tweet said he has resumed duty at his office.
He also told journalists at the villa that President Muhammadu Buhari has assented to the prisons reforms bill which changes the nomenclature from Nigeria Prisons Service to Nigeria Correctional Services.
During the break, he issued a short statement in series of tweets, celebrating the Islamic break with his name signed as an incumbent Presidential aide.
