OrderPaperToday – The House of Representatives has passed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) budget for 2019.
This includes the issuance of N218billion from the statutory revenue fund of the commission of which N44, 334,686,000 will be for recurrent expenditure.
The commission which is also a revenue generating agency will have a sum of N122,952,409,000 transferred from its statutory revenue fund into the federation account.
The committee of supply on Thursday approved the recommendations of the House committee on Telecommunications chaired by Saheed Fijabi (APC, Oyo).
A sum of N15,789,898,000 is for Special Projects while N13,500,000,000 is for transfer to the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF).
