OrderPaperToday – Results from the just concluded National Assembly election has given Osunsanya Kolapo Korede the opportunity of a seat in the House of Representatives to represent Ijebu Ode / Odogbolu / Ijebu North-East federal constituency of Ogun state.

Mr. Osunsanya of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 25, 608 votes was elected after defeating Shote Taiwo Kabir of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other candidates.

Kolapo was born on the 3rd of August, 1960 in Ijebu Ode. He attended Ijebu Ode Grammar School (JOGS) and graduated in 1981. He proceeded to Yaba College of Technology where he studied Accounting and also obtained an MBA Finance from the Lagos State University in 1998.

He worked as a banker before he resigned to pursue his passion for Agriculture and Politics.

He contested and was elected Eti-Osa Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly from 2003 to 2011. He was appointed the House Committee Chairman on Finance and subsequently House Committee on Budget and Appropriation.

He is currently the Senior Special Adviser to Governor Ibikunle Amosun on Transportation.

He is happily married with Children.
