OrderPaperToday – Among the 360 politicians who would be privileged to be part of the 9th House of Representatives also joining the list of first timers is Ganiyu Abiodun Johnson.
Mr. Ganiyu who contested under the All Progressive Congress (APC) won from the just concluded National Assembly election to represent Oshodi/Isolo II federal constituency of Lagos state after defeating Emmanuel Ugochukwu Nnodim of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Johnson was born on the 17th of June, 1952 and was a long time member of Lagos state cabinet. He was special adviser to former governor of the state, Babatunde Fashola on Works and Infrastructure for eight years before he was appointed commissioner for works and infrastructure by outgoing governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.
