OrderPaperToday – The House of Representatives has urged the Federal Government to make budgetary provision for the reconstruction of the Kaiama Kishi and Kusobuso roads in Kwara State.
The resolution followed a motion sponsored by Mr. Mohammed Bio who represents Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency of Kwara state during plenary session.
The green chamber condemned the poor state of the roads, noting that it is one of the largest constituencies that borders the Republic of Benin.

Mr. Bio further expressed worries that the neglect of the roads since Nigeria`s independence will continue to affect the economic standard of the nation thereby resulting in total food shortage, food insecurity and loss of valuables man hours and increase in the spate of crime on those roads.
The motion was put to voice vote by the presiding officer Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Idris, and was carried and subsequently referred to the relevant standing committee for further legislative action.
