‘Be responsible during Valentine’ – Senate tells Nigerians

OrderPaperToday – The Senate has wished Nigerians a happy valentine’s day celebration. The wishes of the red chamber were conveyed by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu who presided over Tuesday’s sitting.

While calling on Nigerians to show love during valentine, Senator Ekweremadu urged citizens “to do it responsibly.”

“Let us also wish Nigerians and our constituents a happy valentine’s day. It is a good opportunity for us to show love to one and other. I believe that we will be able to do it responsibly. Once more, happy valentine’s day to every Senator and all Nigerians,” the Deputy Senate President said.

Other Senators who spoke about valentine’s day include the Senate Leader, Senator Ahmed Lawan (APC, Yobe) and the Deputy Minority Leader, Senator Philip Aduda (PDP, FCT).
