OrderPaperToday – The Court of Appeal in Benin, Edo State, has dismissed applications filed by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege challenging the judgement of the Federal High Court that nullified the processes which led to his nomination as candidate of his party.

It would be recalled that the Federal High court on the 19th of March declared the Cyril Ogodo-led faction the authentic All Progressives Congress (APC) exco in Delta state. By implication, candidates produced by the Jones Erue-led faction including Omo-Agege for the position of Delta central senatorial district, were adversely affected.

The appeal court in Benin on Friday, dismissed an appeal brought by the senator and awarded a fine of N300,000 against the applicant.
